When will I see results?

What can I expect after DeepFX™ | ActiveFX™ treatment?
Immediately following treatment, your skin will be warm and may be slightly red and swollen, depending on your customized treatment settings. Most patients are able to resume their daily activities within a week. To support you in the healing process, a daily skincare routine should be prescribed.

DeepFX™ | ActiveFX™ CO2 Skin Resurfacing Technology
The Lumenis® CO2 fractional laser creates microscopic channels that trigger the process of new collagen and elastic fiber production, while leaving some unaffected skin in between the channels to reduce healing time. DeepFX™ | ActiveFX™ Treatment
To minimize discomfort during deeper treatments, a local anesthetic should be applied to numb your skin. Depending on the treatment area, you can expect the session to last approximately 20–30 minutes. During the treatment you may feel a warm sensation as the laser is applied, but you should not feel any discomfort.
Microbeams target the dermal layers of the skin, resulting in deep dermal regeneration. Unaffected skin in between reduces healing time and aids in regeneration. A high-energy laser beam is applied in a fractional pattern over the surface of the treatment area, leaving areas of untouched skin to promote quicker healing.
