XEOMIN®, a Botox® alternative, is FDA-approved to treat deep frown lines between the eyes. Like Botox®, it is a form of botulinum toxin; however, it does not have any additives, which can provide a reduced risk for allergic reactions. XEOMIN® helps to prevent the muscles between the brows from contracting excessively by blocking nerve transmissions. As a result, facial wrinkles appear relaxed providing a smoother, more youthful appearance.*

The lines that appear between your brows actually result from muscle movement and the passage of time. When these powerful muscles between the brows contract, they draw the brows together, causing the skin to fold or furrow. As skin becomes less elastic with age, those folds or furrows result in stubborn, unwanted lines.
Because frown lines are dynamic lines caused by overactive muscles, they can usually be treated with tiny injections of Xeomin®. Within a few days, you will see a marked improvement in the fine lines and wrinkles that were treated. Results continue to improve for up to 30 days and can last for up to 4 months.*
