At Terrell Clinic, we have a number of chemical peel treatments to help reduce the signs of aging and damaged skin through gentle, yet effective skin resurfacing. One of our favorites is IMAGE Skincare, an innovative, nourishing line of medical-grade chemical peels. IMAGE is composed of natural ingredients including aloe vera, papaya, green tea, and vitamin C. In addition, many of the peels within the line contain wrinkle fighting Retin-A and acne banishing glycol acid.  The beauty behind IMAGE Skincare is its diversity and customized approach to treatment as it comes in a variety of grades from organic to medical-grade peeling.

What to Expect

The Perfection Lift Forte, our signature IMAGE Skincare treatment, results in a substantial amount of peeling and flaking. Days one and two, the skin is tight and shiny. Day two, the skin will take on a reddish brown tone due to pigment lifting. Days three, four and five, expect peeling. Day six, the skin begins healing.

  • Scheduled 4 weeks apart.
  • Our exclusive blend of exfoliating agents are combined with powerful antioxidants, correcting peptides and plant-derived stem cells to create “perfection” when treating advanced pigmentation, acne and aging conditions.
  • This self-neutralizing, lactic/salicylic/resorcinol, next generation blend of advanced exfoliating and revitalizing ingredients rejuvenates and repairs moderate to severe acne, advanced aging, pigmentation/melasma, severe sun damage, acne scarring.

Some things to remember before a Chemical Peel:

  • You should not have taken Acutane within the past 12 months.
  • Do not use glycolic for 24 hours.
  • Do not use retinol products for 72 hours.
  • Do not use Retin-A products 5 days prior to the chemical peel or 5 days after.
  • Do not wax the area being treated 7 days prior or 7 days after the chemical peel.
  • You’ll want to avoid direct sun exposure for 2 weeks after.
